TITAN IRON ORE CORP
Supplying Global Strength
Titan Iron Ore Corp. (“Titan” or the “Company”) is a junior exploration stage mining company focused on the rapidly expanding global iron ore mining sector. The company’s current management, who collectively possess decades of technical mining and managerial expertise, arrived along with the projects in June of 2011.
Titan holds mining rights at the Wyoming Iron Complex located in Albany County, Wyoming at their Strong Creek and Iron Mountain properties. This project, which constitutes roughly 500 acres of unpatented lode mining claims and leased fee lands, features a surface-occurring magnetite iron ore deposit with titanium and vanadium byproducts, with a vast history of extensive drilling, reserve estimates, metallurgical studies, feasibility and related work, all completed by the Union Pacific Railroad who owned the property from 1952 until the late 1970's. Superior access, infrastructure, workforce, and related considerations are all evident with this property.
To maximize short-term cash flow, Titan has shifted focus to its Iron Mountain deposit, instead of the larger Strong Creek deposit. Because Iron Mountain has an existing open pit with past production, 100 historical drill holes, and a considerably shorter timeframe to complete feasibility testing, Titan will focus on Iron Mountain for its current cash flow needs. An ore stockpile at Iron Mountain contains run of mine ("ROM") grade material. A independent sample analysis substantiated iron and titanium grades at 52% and 15%, respectively.
